Forent's CEO, Jayvee De Leon, and ValuePlus's General Manager, Mark Saberola, marking a new chapter in the Philippine car-sharing industry with their visionary partnership.
Auto & Tech | Collaboration for Change: Forent and ValuePlus Partner to Set New Standards in Philippine Car Sharing | In a groundbreaking development for the car-sharing industry, Forent, the Philippines’ largest peer-to-peer car-sharing platform, has announced its collaboration with ValuePlus Auto Services Phils Inc., one of the leading providers of vehicle inspection, maintenance and repair services in the country. This alliance is aimed at enhancing safety, transparency, and profitability for car owners and operators engaged in the Forent community.
Mark Saberola, the General Manager of ValuePlus, spoke highly of this partnership, stating, “We’re proud to be teaming up with Forent to enhance the car-sharing experience for both vehicle owners and renters. By offering our expert inspection services, we aim to ensure that every vehicle listed on Forent’s platform is roadworthy and safe for rental purposes.”
The partnership entails an array of benefits for Forent hosts (car owners/operators). At the heart of the collaboration is the offering of a free standard multi-point inspection for roadworthiness conducted by ValuePlus. This complimentary service is intended to ensure the safety of the renters and uphold the reliability of the platform.
Furthermore, ValuePlus will provide detailed findings and recommendations to both Forent hosts and the Forent team following the inspection. Based on these evaluations, ValuePlus will establish whether the vehicle is roadworthy, with no safety-related recommendations or findings. It is up to the Forent hosts whether they choose to act on these recommendations, and they are free to carry out any necessary repairs with ValuePlus or elsewhere.
If hosts choose to get their vehicles serviced at ValuePlus, they are eligible for a 10% discount on their repair bills or they may opt to avail of the Orange Card Membership for even greater savings. Saberola adds, “Our goal is to give Forent hosts maximum flexibility when it comes to servicing their vehicles. We’re committed to delivering high-quality services at preferential rates, whether it’s for one-time repairs or through our comprehensive Orange Card Membership.”
Jayvee De Leon, CEO of Forent, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership: “Our collaboration with ValuePlus aligns perfectly with our mission to provide a secure and affordable car sharing platform. We believe that this partnership will not only enhance our service but also create a trusted and reliable ecosystem for both the car owners and the renters. Moreover, it will help car owners monetize their vehicles in a safe and effective way.”
